CMA CGM connects Barcelona and Valencia with the eastern Mediterranean Sea
Wemed is created in order to increase the traffic in the Mediterranean Sea and give support to exporters.
The shipping CMA CGM opens a new line which joints 11 ports in the Mediterranean Sea, Barcelona and Valencia among them. This service is given by four ships which also stop in France, Turkey, Lebanon, Egypt and Algeria. It is an excellent new for exporters.
This new line, called Wemed, has been developed because of the growing trade in the area. At the moment, is the only one which connects the Mediterranean Sea from one side to the other, stopping in Malta, where the French shipping has got a hub which establish connections around the world.
