The last week was celebrated EUROSATORY 2016 in Paris. This fair is dedicated to the Defense sector and it is the most important in the world. One year more, Spain had its own pavilion there.

Inaugurated on Monday 13th by the French Defense Ministry, the twenty-fifth edition of EUROSATORY congregated more than 1500 companies from more than 60 nationalities, official statements and professional visitors from all around the world.

The managers of Integra International / OPLOG SP, Joaquín Jímenez and José Manuel Muñoz, as well as the president of their partner Cargo Transport Inc., Jean François Monos, where invited to visit the exposition this year. Taking advantage of this important meeting, OPLOG-SP committee held its annual meeting for the Business Development with USA and attended its business contacts, from both the Spanish Pavilion and the US.

The Spanish Association of Technological Companies of Defense, Aeronautics and Space (acronym in Spanish TEDAE) was the coordinator of the Spanish Pavilion. IT congregated several Spanish pioneer companies at the highest technological levels, such as ARPA, DAS PHOTONICS, GAPTEK, EUROTRONICS, INSTALAZA, MADES, NAVANTIA, OTO MELARA IBÉRICA, SAPA PLACENCIA, THALES PROGRAMAS and URO.

In the Spanish Pavilion, the companies showed up a large summary of capacities, developments and products that are very interesting for the Security and Defense sector. Mobile Apps, facilities for hospitals and refugee camps, weapon solutions or vehicles are some examples.

Integra International enjoyed the visit by knowing the technological advances showed by the companies. As well, Integra got interested in the presence of “Grupo Atenea” and HOMSEC 2017 presentation.

One of the main functions of the Spanish Pavilion coordinator in EUROSATORY, TEDAE, was boosting the internationalization of the associated companies. On Tuesday 14th, they celebrated the Spain Day, with the official support of the Ministry of Defense lead by the State Secretary, Pedro Argüelles. He highlighted the defense Spanish industry progression during this years and said that “Spain must have a defense industry proportional to its place in the world”.

From Integra International, we wish we could keep on witnessing this Spanish industry evolution and being part of it.
